Recent Activities
Our cameras and microphones have been busy capturing the essence of numerous Minnesota choral ensembles including Cantus, Great Northern Union, Kantorei, Minneapolis Youth Chorus, Minnesota Chorale, National Lutheran Choir, Rose Ensemble, St. Olaf Choir, Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir, and VocalEssence. We've also completed more than 30 interviews with noted conductors, composers and singers. We'll be visiting with more choral ensembles and their leaders in the coming months.
Upcoming Activities
Our interview activity will be completed during the next several months as we visit with Dale Warland and the SPCO Anniversary Chorale, Rene Clausen (Concordia College), Tom Rossin (Exultate), and others.
In August, we’ll capture the sounds of the Minnesota Voices commissioning project featuring premieres of works by Carol Barnett, Edie Hill, J. David Moore, Brian Schmidt, and Jankia Vandervelde. They will be performed by:
